Stuart, FL
Stuart is a city in and the seat of Martin County, Florida, United States. Located on Florida’s Treasure Coast, Stuart is the largest of four incorporated municipalities in Martin County. The estimated population is 16,543 according to the most recent United States census estimates. The House of Refuge at Gilbert’s Bar is a restored home once used as a haven for shipwrecked sailors in the 1900s. Stuart Heritage Museum has local history displays, including furniture from early pioneer homes. The bird-rich Seabranch Preserve State Park features many trails and a butterfly garden. St. Lucie Inlet Preserve State Park is a nesting area for sea turtles.

Known as the “Sailfish Capital of the World,” the Atlantic Coast city of Stuart is located along Florida’s renowned Treasure Coast, north of Palm Beach and south of Vero Beach. Coordinates: 27°11′32″N 80°14′35″W.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 8.5 square miles (22 km2), of which 6.3 square miles (16 km2) is land and 2.2 square miles (5.7 km2) is water.
